My Eddie's Brine is an all-in-one brine mix perfect for Thanksgiving & the holidays. Made with Himalayan Pink Salt, pickling spices and my Gunsight Game rub.
Simply follow the directions on the back of the bag to brine a 18-20 lb. bird.
Step 1) Place the entire bag into a saucepan with 1 qt. water and simmer to dissolve.
Step 2) Place turkey in a brining bag and place in a large bucket and add water solution, then add 6 qts of water. Use a plate to weigh down turkey to submerge the turkey. Close bag and ice down and brine 24 hours.
Step 3) Remove from solution, pat down and roast.
